Congrats to Dylan Smith and Team Heavy on their first Feature Win of 2010. Lisa, Mike, Heavy, Dylan and Diesel all made the trip to Northwest Phoenix, Arizona for the 2010 Winter Challenge at Canyon Speedway Park. After a first weekend rain-out that sent RaceDayPrints.com back to Omaha after making the driver to cover the event, the team pushed to a 4th place finish on Jan 30th and tonight Jan 31st Dylan piloted his Jet Chassis to victory lane. Follow the 2009 IMCA Modified National Champion the next 3 weekends as they push to take Arizona by storm. (like the weather has so far this year). Baytown, Texas - Dec. 3, 2009 - Jason Hughes navigates his way through the competition and a rough track Thursday night to take the opening night A- Feature. After winning the RaceDayPrints.com Heat #7 by holiding off a hard charging Ryan Gustin he started the A-Feature in 12 position. As the track got remolded lap after lap due to the 1 1/2" of rain a day earlier, Jason dove high and low around rutts and cautions to get to the front. |
